In Hebrews 1–3, the author sets out to demonstrate that Jesus is superior to the prophets, angels, and Moses. We’re told Jesus is the ultimate revelation of God (1:1–2), the Creator of the world (1:2), and the exact imprint of God’s nature (1:3). After explicitly stating He is “much superior to angels,” the author of Hebrews writes, “For to which of the angels did God ever say, ‘You are my Son, today I have begotten you‘?”

The obvious answer to this hypothetical question is that God never said that to any angel. Rather, in Mark 1:11, God says to Jesus, “You are my beloved Son; with You I am well pleased.”

Note: Only sons are "begotten"... out of your essence. Angels were created outside of God's essence.

In verse 6, we are told the angels worship Jesus. How could a created being receive worship?

Jesus is "God manifest in the Flesh" - 1 Tim. 3:16 KJV

How could the bible be any clearer?

You got the wrong Jesus. The Jesus you imagine cannot help you because he didn't die in your place. But Jesus did.

But Basically there are plenty of other verses showing Jesus praying and inferior to the Almighty

Christians have always maintained, as they do now, that Jesus was BOTH man (inferior) and God at the same time. Scriptures are exceedingly clear about this.

Only the Spirit portion of Jesus' being was God. His body was same as us. Like us, Jesus had a spirit, body and soul. However, his spirit was the indivisible essence of God, So, it can rightly be said that Jesus was both God and Man at the same time.

Sometimes Jesus spoke as a man, sometimes he spoke as God. Both are true. Does this make sense to you Fisherman?

Here's all three parts of man listed in scripture (twice):

It all makes logical sense though—JW interpretation of the Bible—to the point of being mentally and emotionally convinced to the point of dying for your beliefs such as blood and political neutrality.

You can be sincere AND sincerely wrong at the same time. Fortunately, people won't be judged on whether or not they are sincere or if they died for their beliefs. They will be judged after they die on whether or not they have broken any of the 10 commandments.

To deal with this LITERAL judgement, Jesus LITERALLY substituted for the sin that individuals carry: "he became sin for us". and codified this "forgiveness of sins" into a contract at MT. 26: 27-28.... the same contract JW's disrespect and reject every memorial.

it is appointed unto man once to die and then to face judgement. - Heb. 9; 27

There is nothing symbolic about any of this stuff. Symbolism is just another word for rejecting the words of God.

JW's on the trial before God: "I'm sorry your Honor, I sincerely thought your judgement was only symbolic. I was told that my sins would be wiped away and I would be given a clean slate after I die.".

God: "Why didn't you believe me over them? Didn't you know they had a 100% prophecy failure rate"?

Get off the crazy train and read the bible literally, unless it tells you that something is a symbol or means something else. If it doesn't say that, just take God at his word.

Prediction of how Watchtower going to be in 5 Years.

i can see it that watchtower will become an online/tv based group with just con-vention hall$.. field service would be letter writing and phone preaching, door to door is done.. watchtower will have pay to view programs and still ask for donations after all that.. zoom meetings are here to stay.

kingdumb halls will be sold off except for con-vention venues, or need for new ones$.. df'ing will continue.

the craziness will continue.

The result is the demographic changed for the worse. When these elderly (Boomers and older) are gone, it’s going to resemble an insane asylum because I don’t believe any of the younger ones with a brain will hang around.

Liberal vs. Conservative mental health study - what do you make of it?

a pew study from 2020 (but one i just now came upon myself) reported that the more liberal you are, the more likely you are to have a mental health condition.

the worst suffering group are white females, ages 18-29 where over 56% have admitted to be described by their own doctors as having a mental health condition.

conservative females of the same age group suffer at less than half that number (27%).. while women tend to have more mental health problems than men (don't be mad at me for saying it, this is what the study reports) it is notable that liberal men have a higher percentage of mental health conditions than conservative women in the same age group.

Good point Biahi. If you figure 1% each year get disfellowshipped and only half return..... should be in the neighborhood of 1.2M additional. Maybe closer to a 50% attrition rate?

That sounds more like it....quite a revolving door.

People enter the Wacky WT World, destroy their family, learn to hate God and then medicate for the rest of their life.

All of us separately and together did exactly what we were asked to do by our local congregations and (tacitly) by our Governing Body at the time. It was told to each of us quietly, circumspectly with caution: "Do NOT tell anybody you were instructed to do this. You must say it is your conscience." IRONIC, isn't it? We were told what to say as if our "conscience" was concluding ALTERNATE service was just as bad as military service.

What a bunch of snakes. No one who is opposed to military service would object to some sort of civilian community service instead. The WT was just creating martyrs as usual with their flock. You got used.

Ironic? Yes, lots of irony...If you actually follow your conscience and accept alternative service, you'll be disfellowshipped and never see your family again. You'll be physically free, but experience a social and familial prison.

If, you go against your conscience and obey the high leaders at WT, you'll go to prison, and must live life as a felon the rest of your life, - can never own a gun, vote, be a lawyer, run for office, get a good job etc.

I knew a good JW kid who went to prison for a short time for a marijuana charge while still a teenager. He got a good job as a trustee saddling horses for the squad bosses and riding fence lines mending fences miles from the prison sometimes. He later said that it was the first time in his life that he felt truly free compared to growing up JW.

The Society’s records show that 12.060.921 persons were baptized in the last 48 years. Add to that the publishers who were in the field service the previous year, 1969, namely, 1.336.112, and that gives you a total of 13.397.033 persons.

Allowing for the death of about 1.339.703 persons, at the usual rate of one percent each year, are we to say that since 1969 there have been over 3.696.736 brothers and sisters who have gone out in the field service at some time or other since their dedication and baptism and are now trying to show Jehovah and others their faith without works?

Since the Average Publishers 2018 were 8.360.594
the total (a) correspond to a loss of 44,22% baptized
publishers from the year 1969 to 2018 i.e. 49 years.-

44% loss? Sounds about right. I wonder if we will ever be able to get reliable publisher numbers from the Wt. again? I wonder what the percentage loss would calculate to be when adding the last 4 years which include Covid, witness work stopping, etc.
